This Privacy Policy explains how the CV Maker mobile application ("the App") handles your information. We prioritize your privacy by keeping your resume data on your device.

Local Storage Policy

All resume content, including personal details, work history, and profile photos, is stored locally on your device. We do not host or store your resume data on our servers. If you delete the app or clear its data, your resume will be permanently lost unless you have exported a PDF or backed up your device.

Information We Process

To provide our services, we process: 1. AI Processing Data: When you use AI Import or Summary Enhancement, your text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored by us. 2. Device Identifier: We use a unique device ID (e.g., Android ID or iOS IDFV) to manage your credit balance and prevent abuse of free allowances. This ID is not linked to your personal identity. Your purchased credits are linked to your Apple/Google account and automatically sync across reinstalls when using the same store account. 3. Purchase Data: Payment information is handled exclusively by Apple or Google. We receive transaction confirmations via RevenueCat to credit your account and sync your balance automatically.

Third-Party Services

We use the following providers: - Apple/Google: For secure in-app payments. - RevenueCat: To manage your credit purchases. - OpenAI: To provide AI-powered resume parsing and summary generation. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share your profile photo with AI providers.

Security

Because your data stays on your device, its security depends on your mobile device's security settings. We recommend using device encryption and screen locks.
